Our Story

After working in fashion design and production for 10 years and being a Mum for 4 years, I knew I wanted to combine my two great loves, fashion & my girls, Penny & Phoebe.

Over the last few years of buying gifts & clothing for my own children, friends & family I realised there is so much room for clothing, toys & accessories that are not only fun but aesthetically pleasing too.

And so, Didee was born.

The Didee name comes from my daughters beloved comforter. Didee is part of our everyday lives, and as Penny navigates the big wide world, Didee is always along for the ride.

We hope that you're along for the ‘Didee’ ride too!

WHAT IS DIDEE?

It’s simple… We have curated a collection of high quality, sustainable, childrenswear and accessories that reflect our love for fashion, play, and the world around us.

Here at Didee we love playful fashion, and we never take ourselves too seriously. It’s all about beautiful colours and fun prints full of personality.

Sustainability has been a must from day one. The fabrics used for our garments are 100% organic GOTS approved, and PETA vegan approved, and our packaging follows suit, it is either fully recyclable or reusable.

With that in mind, we hope that you’re new favourite T’ is passed around the family for years to come!

Alongside the Didee brand, our store sets out to bring together a small collection of brands to create a one stop shop for all things fun. Promoting imaginative play for babies and young children.

As well as a range of toys you’ll find a select range of homeware to help create fun yet beautiful space to play.

Thanks for stopping by,

LOVE OUR PLANET 🌎

All Didee Clothing is organic certified.

It is important to us that our clothing sets the bar high, everything we make is, and will continue to be, OEKO – TEX certified, this means no harmful chemicals are used during the dying process. As well as this the clothing is GOTS approved (organic certified) and printed using 100% water based dyes. Making our clothing 100% vegan approved.

That’s a lot of technical lingo right?! In short… there are no nasties in our clothing!

Meet some of our planet friendly friends…

  • Threadbear x Tender Leaf Toys – Tender Leaf toys are made from retired rubberwood trees. And each time one of these trees re used to create these super imaginate toys, another tree is planted. Tender Leaf toys are also packaged in recyclable boxes, but please always double check before choosing the right bin!
  • Rockahula – Rockahula products arrive at Didee HQ wrapped only in paper, there is no plastic in sight. They are also working hard to use recycled materials within their products. As well as this every year 5% of Rockahula profits are donated to children’s charities, amazing!
  • Pebble Child – The beautiful and very fun Pebble products are entirely hand made using natural materials. They are a fair-trade product and hand made in Bangladesh by a team of women and mothers. Pebble ensures that mothers can work around their families, to be able to support financially as well as in the home. Whenever you buy a Pebble product, you’re helping support these families too.
  • Katie’s Design House – Katie’s designs are not only inspired by flowers, plants and our natural surroundings; Katies gorgeous prints are also packaged using a recyclable card for support and a compostable wallet. Pop the wallet in the bin and it will biodegrade naturally. If you are sending one of Katie’s cards, why not suggest that it is reused as a print in the lucky recipient’s home!
